Opax Mountain
Introduction
Established in 1993, the Opax Mountain Study program has acted as a way to demonstrate the many ways by which a forest can be managed. The interpretive trail walks you through a series of stops, each focussing on a different element of the forest ecosystem.
How To Use The Trail
- Any classes studying the living or non-living environment may want to consider using this interpretive trail.
- This trail could be used by both overnight and McQueen Lake day-centre groups.
Hints for Success
- Although the trail has been designed as being self-guided, it is strongly recommended that you take advantage of your school's Adopt-A-Forester or McQueen Lake Resource Teacher.
