• The Forest Capital Trail focusses on multiple and sustained use use of the forest resource, including forestry, grazing, wildlife, and recreation.

Hints for Success

• Although the trail has been designed as being self-guided, it is strongly recommended that you take advantage of your school's Adopt-A-Forester or McQueen Lake Resource Teacher. To find out who your forester is, click here. Having a knowledgeable interpreter along can make a world of difference, making the trip more interesting and relevant to the needs of your class.
